GM engine EFI harnesses, supplier
I have been looking at a custom GM engine for one of my future projects. Its EFI of course, so this leads to the dreaded harness cost problem..
I found a place thru an engine builder that almost seems reasonable, less than $300 for a harness..

Sam; I am in the process of doing this same install. The cheapest harness I have found that has everything you need is over $700. How much is this harness your talking about and does it come with the ECM or do you have to buy all the extras. If it is under $300 and has everything needed to install and start the engine I want one NOW. Thanks RUSTY

for example from the 'catalog'
Tuned Port EFI with 700R4 Trans
Part # 1121-0012-N, $245, This harness has all of the features that are needed to transplant the TPI engine out of a 90-92 Camaro or Corvette. The emissions equipment are not part of this harness. This harness will allow you to install a TPI engine out of a Camaro or Corvette with all of the sensor connections needed to operate as a 1990 to 92 Camaro MAP system. The computer and chip are not included. It will allow you to use the 700R4 transmission
94-95 TBI 4L60E Transmission
Part #2523-2042-N, $295, Made for 1994-1995 TBI engine and transmission combinations. Also used as a 4L60E conversion harness for transplanting the 4L60E transmission. It has all of the basic funtionality to run the 94-95 TBI engine with no emission equipment.

I found a email address and sent them a email if they can make one I'll order it. I like the MAF because I have a Large cam in it and didn't have to change anything.

When I did the 86 TPI in my 50, I got the harness with the 4 ft extra length from Painless. Worked out perfect. I put the ECU and all of the relays behind the seat and ran the wires out the hole in the floor where the gas tank used to be, came up behind the engine. I seem to recall that it was about $400.
