Hey guys I joined Sam's club a while back and saw this type of transmission fluid they sell, its a dexron III/mercon. Just wondering if anybody had any experience with it.

Take a close look at the label. More often than not, the store brands are Valvoline packed out for one of the big distributers.

 

I've used the Walmart brand (blue bottle ...Syntech???). I usually use it in situations that might not be long term. Like when I rebuilt my last automatic tranny, and in my F100, that I didn't even know if the transmission would work or how long it will last. So far, no problems.

 

I can guarantee you its a relabel. It meets the specs of Dex III, so there is nothing wrong with it.
