Not sure exactly. That was one of my questions in the original post. It is a 96 Ford F-250 with the 5.8.

I believe you are looking at 2.5" in dual 2" out if it is factory. The extremem will not clamp right in either obviously so the best bet is just get it and go to a shop. say I want this in place of this and leave it at that. BTW, Cherry Bomb is now making 8" case length glasspacks. Only thing I warn of with them is make sure the perf tube is actually 2.5"... All of the ones I have had have a 2.25" tube and 2.5" inlets, makes for a very crappy sound compared to Thrush or Flowtech. The stock tails should keep it from droning alot as well.

I'd cut off the cat after your 02 sensor and have the Cherry Bomb Extreme installed with full length tailpipes and the biggest echo tips I could find.

Man I want your truck.

The Pro Flow on my 95 f150 has a 3" inlet. It slid snugly on the pipe where my rear cat was. On the 351's ford used several different cat converter configurations. The F250 I had, had only 1 cat behind the transmission crossmember with 2 pipes going into it, 1 oblong pipe coming out to the muffler, then dual pipes from the muffler to behind the tire. I had all that cut off and replaced with dual straights with bell tips. The Cherrybomb Extreme looks like a great muffler, and they sound good too. Also check with your local parts stores for Cherrybomb mufflers. We can get them at Oreilly's and Idiot....I mean Autozone.
