ARP Stud Prices ?
Hey all,
Our local for-sale web page had an ad yesterday advertising ARP stuff.
I inquired about the cost of head studs and nuts for a 7.3 IDI.
the reply was - Can special order them in for you. Price would be $749.95 CDN plus the tax.
Seems a little high, is that the approximate going rate ?

Its true, buddy. You were actually quoted a pretty decent price for the 7.3 studs. I still don't know why they are so much more expensive than the 6.9 style, but they just are. But as you just found out, at least you aren't paying an insane mark up on the canadian side of the border other than for currency exchange. 3 years ago, you would have probably been charged closer to $1200.

From OB.NET You need to order AR 7.00lb. They are not listed in the catalog so be prepared to "talk" you way thru this with the sales rep. They are 7 inches long and are 1/2x20 fine threads on top and 1/2x13 course threads on the bottom. You willneed the nuts and washers also for these. You'll spend about $300 + you'll need to order the washers and nuts.
