Well its basically the same except the Elocker is not automatic when the tire slips. First you need to activate a switch to engage the locker. This is benefical when using in the front so you can still drive the vehicle for normal use. I sure hope it improves my truck because without one its not worth a crap in the mud. Guess these diesels are just too heavy in the front end.
Well,
Make sure once you get it done to take it through a great big mud hole somewhere and then report back!
I'd like to put a True-trac in the rear, but not sure what to do after that. E-locker or True-trac for the front.

Well I guess you'll get your wish. I have on order a Truetrac for the rear and the Eaton Elocker for the front. I plan to wire the electric front locker to one of the upfitter switches. I think the locker is around 3amps so the lowest amp upfitter switch will do the trick. If she doesnt go then its just not going to go period. Hopefully i'll get them installed this Friday cause its suppose to rain here Sat and Sunday. If it does then i have the perfect muddy bank that i've had the opportunity to take several vehicles up in the past. 1st try with my new F250 with factory limited slip was not a success. To say the least i was surprised and disappointed.
