backspacing?

what backspacing do I need for my truck?

will these work for me?


Wheel Specs:
  • Code: 1059-7970
  • Hub Centric? NO
  • Size: 17x9
  • Bolt Pattern: 8x170mm
  • Offset: -8mm
  • Backspacing: 4.625”
  • Load Capacity: 3420
  • Weight: 28
  • Center Cap P/N: 7515041

The backspacing is fine if your looking for wheels that stick out a bit. That particular backspacing is more ideal for a pre-'05. The '05-ups your going to want to be more along the lines of 5.5" of backspacing.

BTW... You have to be real careful of aftermarket 17" wheels when it comes to the '05-ups. Many of them will not clear the brake calipers so it is always a good idea to confirm fitment first and if possible try fitting one up before you buy...

yea I am looking to lift the truck 6" and was hoping the wheels will stick out a little...

is there a measurment that will tell me the if the wheels will fit around the brakes?
