I don't know what year they stopped using them but the newer ones are sealed units and not greasable. I don't think they have been installing as stock for quite some time.

Most typical non-greasable joints (no zerck fitting) are inherently stronger units. You can have spicers with zerks installed but again not as strong as the sealed units.

The only grease fittings from the factory are on the U-joints for the front axle (if you have 4wd). One zerk on each, but they are tough to get at. If they stopped using them sometime after '05, I do not know, but my '05 has them, and none other.

General high pressure wheel bearing lube should be fine.

The u joints on the front axle still come with grease fittings. My '09 chassis cab has them.

I didn't see any on the steering linkage. How many are there? I'll have to look better when I get it back from the upfitter.

i sold my 06 so I cannot look at it anymore. If you looked at the axle ones that may have been it. follow the drag link and the tie rod ends if none then you got them all.

My 05 has them on the front axle U-Joints, but none on any of the steering parts or anywhere else.

My 01 7.3 4x4 SRW crew doesn't have fittings in the front u-uoints.im trying to decide whether or not to replace them .I'm doing some front end work and I'm thinking wile I'm in there! The universals dont seem bad now Ijust dont want to go back in, in 10 k! Question is Which ones ! I installed moog b-joints,think I'm going with national seals, but if the non greasable u-joints are stronger ,what would you use?
