Coolant Loss

My 2004 6.0 with 161,000 miles has recently been losing coolant. No spill noted underneath. Also small drops of thin oil dripping from small pinhole in front of muffler. Are they related?

Welcome to FTE!

Is the truck throwing white smoke? That "thin oil" might be moisture mixed with soot from the exhaust.

No smoke actually. I did just get back from Lowes and now I have a large puddle of liquid, you are right, it might be coolant with soot under the muffler. The muffler is obviously accumulating the liquid and when I park on a downslope, the liquid drips out of the small pinhole in the front portion of the muffler.

Are you sure it's coming from within the muffler? Could it be rolling down the exhaust pipe from above? The reason I ask is because there is a hose which is part of the EGR cooling system that's located near the top rear of the engine block, and if it's coming from above that might be the source.
