Boost#'s does this sound normal

I'm in Parker CO which is around 6k elevation. I was running up in the high country today going over Berthoud pass & Eisenhower pass both 10+k doing 70+ & the guages would only hit 8#, but ran great never got over 900 egt's milage great, so when I got home I pulled all the tubes from the guage to the MAP blew them out ran 20psi into the gauge read 20, and put it all together and made a few short runs in town & I was able to hit 11# going from light to light.
I'll find out later in the week when I have time to make a few hwy runs to see what numbers I get, the stock tire theroy sound good to me also.
