Last year people were complaining about the '09 F-150 0-60 times and the quarter mile times being below the competetion. Now it's started all over again with the engine cutting out at 95. You have discovered that Ford doesn't feel the truck is safe beyond 95 mph. You should take heed and operate the vehicle in a safe manner and in the manner of which it was built.

Lol i have noticed that. People were never happy that it wernt as fast as the ram 0-60 but now it is the same performance people move onto something else lol.
I can't recall ever feeling the urge to do >95mph in a pickup truck. When I rolled my SD, I was only doing 55mph, and that was not a fun experience, to say the least. I can't imagine what it would be like to be doing 95 and blow a tire in one of these trucks. If you want a vehicle designed to travel at speeds like that, get a Mustang or Corvette, but certainly not a truck.

Good point. If I seem a lttle tense on this subject it's only beacuse I had a blowout on my '04 Expy at night on the Maine Turnpike. Right rear tire shredded. At 1 am anywhere in Maine is like being in the middle of the frozen tundra, no one to assist, very little cell service and dark as hell. There was seven of us in the truck and we were only doing 70mph. We didn't wreck, but it had a definate impact on how I view safe vehicle operation.
