The truck is limited to that for safety as the tires probably aren't rated for sustained speeds any greater than that. When they engineered and built them, they kept in mind that they were trucks, not funny cars.

WTF you doing going 95mph in a pickup truck for? Get yourself a sportscar, high speed in a PU is insane!

Im guessing he was just trying to just see what its top speed is. Now who hasn't done this with any one of there new "toys"? But my guess is that they really govern these trucks down for saftey. I bet your truck has tourqe through the **** but top speed is limited for saftey. Just my two cents!

I tried mine this morning and 95mph was it. i need a programmer. i have had my 05 up to over 130 before. just trying to see what the top speed was.

well dont start thinkin thats why it was wrecked. in fact i wasnt even in the truck when it happened. i was at home. buddy was in my truck and some idiot ran out in front of him. speed had NOTHING to do with it.

well i was goin to put the ones from my other truck in but found out the fog lights are not the same.
im going with the hid flex type. it has a high/low beam all built into one single hid. looks pretty cool to. i havent got them yet. the dealer down the road is holding a set for me until i get my check tomorrow or next week. but i will have pictures as soon as i get them installed
