rough idle
Hello fellow Excursion owners. I have a serious problem. After a long winter idecide it was time to wash the Excursion today and decided to wash under the hood. After I was done I took the clean truck for a ride and noticed that I had a very rough idle and a rough running engine at 50 mph. Any sugestions on a possible cause. Thanks in advance.

Do you have the diesel or the gas engine. I believe you can go to auto parts shop and get codes read.
If you have the gasser I would probably suspect water in the cops, plug area causing the problems.

I've had afew friends with the V10 that have had this problem and they all told me to put a little clear silicone around the coils especially the number 10 water drains wright onto this for some reason fixed their problems and did it to mine and haven't had a problem yet just a thin coat
