You probably cant put enough behind it that it wont tow it. they are pretty stout stock but with a chip (DP) it even adds more to the amount that they can tow
The truck and trailer can weigh a max of 20,000lbs. The amount you can carry on your truck itself is listed on the door sticker under GVWR. Tell us more about your truck (250 or 350? single or dual rear wheels?)
This one is all stock and is a single cab 2 wheel drive. Where can i find what they can tow? I bought it to tow my cobra to the track.
Your truck should be just fine with that Cobra. I am guess a 03/04 Cobra probably in the upper 3000s? Trailer and all you should be well under 20k lbs.
It depends on how much your truck weighs. Mine can legally pull around 12k since it weighs 8k. Your truck is probably closer to 6k so you could pull around 14k. See how it works out? The truck and trailer can weigh 20k at most.

So under no circumstance can you ever cross that weight limit? Any reason to ever need to pull over at weigh in stations? Forgive my ignorance on the subject!

You can, and many have done it. It puts a huge strain on the truck though and if for some reason you got in an accident, you'd be 100% at fault since you were over your legal weight. I'm not sure how the weigh station requirements work. It seems like every state has different laws on it. No need to apologize for the question, its how you learn new things. FTE wouldnt be the site it is if people didnt ask questions.
