Replacement Seats

Does anyone know of a website where I'd be able to order replacement seats for a '98 Ranger. I've got the extended cab with the 60/40 split and the the drivers seat is worn to the point that springs are breaking and poking through the back.

Would probably be easier/cheaper to have them recovered locally? Or check a junkyard... I wouldn't order them online.

Look for a wrecked Explorer ('95-'01) and grab the seats out of it. Often times you can find some nice power leather seats, among other goodies. See: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...h-console.html

You probably are not going to find an Explorer with a 60-40 in it. Local salvage is probably your best bet. If you do get a set on-line try to find some close enough that you can go pick them up - shipping adds a ton to the price.

Explorer buckets will bolt into a Ranger w/60-40 seats...

I've seen good auto upholstery shops do wonders with seats I would've hauled to the junkyard. Doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe try craigslist if you don't have any luck there.
