Interesting, positive comments

I work part time for the parking concession (read I take your money and let you park)at a local event center. It used to be free, but since we started charging we get our share of grumbling or worse. To overcome this I try to make some appropriate comments to diffuse any potential hostility. In the case where I get a Ford diesel coming thru I'll make some positive remarks. Typically the guy will ask, or I will tell that I have a 7.3LPSD. To a man they will reply to 'hang on to what you got, that's the best diesel Ford ever put out' or' I wish I still had mine'.
Just thought I'd share.

I plan on keeping mine for a while. I'd like a long box and if I came across a screamer of a deal (and could swap all my stuff over) I'd consider getting rid of the shorty.

I did the math. If I drive 10,000 miles per year (which is about average for me) my truck will reach 700,000 miles by the time I am 77!

I know of a few guys who had 7.3's who regret getting rid of them.
