Does anyone out there have any experience with cab leaks on '70 F250? I think the leaks (both ends of dash area) are coming in under the dash area from the cowl area, since I don't see a water leaking through the windshield.
Any help or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
John, welcome to the board!! all of my experiences with water on both sides of the dash turned out to be in the windshield sometimes it runs down along the side and drips in behind the gasket and you can't see it unless you can pull the gasket away with you fingers then the water will drip out onto the dash.

It could be the cowl seam. You'll have to get a flashlight and inspect from under the dash and through the cowl louvers on the outside. A garden hose on a dry day helps identify leaks because you can direct the water stream. These leaks may also be something as simple as a plugged cowl drain. Look for leaves and stuff in your cowl vents. You'll need to pull them from inside the cab to clean these out. IHTH.

I have fought this battle on several occasions and have found a variety of causes. As John & stockman pointed out the w/shield & cowl are the likely culprits. The cowl area behind the fender can also be a problem area as well as minor rust holes in the lower fire wall & upper floor pan area. If all else fails, pull back the carpet or flooring and use compressed air to locate any possible pin holes or brittle/cracked/missing seam sealer. If it has a sunroof, I would say start there as they All tend to leak. And when they do it can run down the inside of the w/shield posts & cab corners causing rust to spring up everywhere!!!
Let us know what you find. Until then, I highly recommend some waders & some chicken soup!
