Well it's bean awhile since i done this but this is what i remember.
It was a mid 70's BTW.
I put the rubber on the winshield first,then run a small rope (1/4)around so the two ends meet at the (bottom?)Then it took "2" buddies.!lol
One guy helps the rubber to go onto the truck while the other guy pulls the rope out!It's kind of self explanitory at this point also i dont remember using any sealer but maybe we did!

Silicon spray works well but makes a mess to cl;ean up. Use liquid dish soap! It will wash right off and you'll have a nice clean window AND truck.
