Anything above 1300 degrees is gambling from what i've heard....

install it on the drivers side manifold. its easy to get to from under the truck. and try to stay under 1200 for the most part. running higher than that for extended amounts of time and risk HG failure. 1400 or so is ok for short periods like say 1/8 or 1/4 mile, but I would be careful

Texans and natem8301 have you covered on the temps. Be careful over 1300. Be VERY careful if it hits 1400. Remember, damage isn't always going to give you instant feedback!
