i just got a 44 1 1/2 ton i think it has a flathead v8 anybody have any expeirience with these it aint ran in 45 years

44 is probably military. v-8 would be 59ab. 45 years is a lot of down time. does it spin over-- by hand? fuel system is more than likely shot, from tank thru carb. need more details.
