E4OD Help!

My overdrive light falshed toaday but then stopped. The tranny was rebuilt with HD torque converter and overdrive and is also equipped with an tranny cooler and a knew MLPS only 6000 miles on it. The o/d flashed happened twice. The second time it happened was when I put it in reverse the tranny pooped into gear a littler harder than normal. I then turned the truck off and back on and there was no flashing. Let me know what you guys think. Also how do i test to see what code is comming up.

The flashing light means an error code was stored. You can use a really cheap ($25) reader to get the codes, or use a paper clip and read the flashes on the light. There are instructions floating around the net on how to do that, I don't have a copy.

Without the code nobody knows what's wrong.
