Fuel Pump questions
I was doing some research and came to listings for 3 fuel pumps on my truck? Two of the listings said plastic fuel tank and steel tank. so I would narrow it down to two. Is that correct? One is in the fuel tank and another is where? I do not find a listing for where it is.
Also if I wanted to install larger injectors I know I need to upgrade the fuel pump. I have read all about FASS but was wondering what else there is available? What brands of pumps only are good if I were to go with another air/water seperator set up? Also would the upgraded fuel pump replace the stock fuel pump or go inline with it? Whether it is a FASS system or other and it goes in line with the stock pump where in the system before or after the stock fuel pump and water seperator?

Air Dog is another choice. You would need an add-on pump along w/ the Air Dog filtration system, but you can keep the stock HFCM w/ it (IIRC). Most folks install a raptor pump w/ this setup.
You may get away w/ using the stock fuel pump even w/ upgraded injectors (Tex25025 would give you good advice on this). IMO, get yourself a fuel pressure gauge before any fuel system mods.
So I pose the question....
Is it better to run the new pump in parallel with the stock pump? Has anyone tried this as a backup incase something happens? I would imagine that you would need a check valve in front of the stock pump to prevent back flow.
What do you think?
