Any suggestions....it has to be available in 35x12.5x18 or equivalent dimensions.....I have terra grapplers but looking to venture out to try new things even though these lasted me 3 yrs!
I have Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ but they are for 33/12.5/17 and they run like 230 a tire. I dont know what they are for 35/12.5/18. I love these tires. But they are really the only mud tire I have ever owned to but I have had no problems with them. They are really aggresive too.
I do understand that running the stock gears is bad, but I just checked my trans out and it looks fine even after the 115k I put on it....93k of it being with larger tires... It comes to a point that if my trans goes I'm going to kick it up a notch and make it beefier anyway to support a higher HP range.....just enjoying it as it comes....
I really like the BFG Mud Terrain KM2. Those tires bite really well in the mud, you will have a hard time getting stuck if you run them. But they do wear pretty quick if you run up and down the road all the time
I was looking at the bfg mt when i got my truck aligned after my leveling kit. The guy at the tire place said to expect 15,xxx out of the m/t's and about 40,xxx out of the a/t's. I still think i can get more out of the m/t's. Then he told me that nitto's were cheaper than bfg's

I would say your tire guy is pretty right on miles to expect out of the tires. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of tire choice in the 35x12.5x18 tire size from what I can find at least. I don't know how much tires are going for right now either. Especially comparing prices but I know that BFGs aren't cheap at all.
