Seal kit $30
Flywheel $80
Clutch $50
Starter $50
Drive shafts $35
I got the trans in. Had to move the cross member ahead about 7". The front drive shaft is now about a foot too long and I'm in the process of shortening it. The rear shaft was way too short so I went to the salvage yard today and told them I wanted a two piece drive shaft that they can't seem to get rid of, for cheap. I brought home a 85 F250 shaft for $35. It was 8" too long so I shortened the front half of it and threw it in.
I still need to buy a clutch pedal and master cylinder, and then pickup one of them pull slave cylinders so i still have plenty of work ahead of me. RB
Anyone know which two wires are the neutral safety switch and which two are the reverse lights on an E4OD? I got the new starter in and was going to fire it up. I got the clutch pedal assembly for $20. Ordered a pull slave for $44.95 and then spent about $40 for oil and U bolts and starter wiring. I'm close to being done. RB
I drove her tonight for the first time and I gotta say that 5.0 is no powerstroke. I dont see how it would even keep moving if it had overdrive. Anyone have an extra 5.8L laying around? RB
