so this is my first post hear..iam a fleet mechanic for a forms/pool company we have 4 f350s...and what not but iam having a problem with the directionals and brake lites...it will pop a fuse after about 10 min of being in the truck...so the other day i started testing to find the problem...i put a new fuse in and nothing happened they didnt even work..and the fuse was fins so i took a multi function switch from another truck and put it in this 1 and it worked all day fine and today it stoped working again.....anyone ever have this problem befor
Not an electrician...or even a mech at that, but is the problem happening with a single truck or are you having problems with the fleet?
If it's a single truck....are they parked outdoors? Any mice/squirrels/chipmonks around? I've heard of problems with the lil rodents chewing on harnesses...which might account for the sporadic nature of the problem.
