I Put a 6" lift on my truck and there was a rubber spacer on top of my strut thats about 2" thick , well when i put the lift on it i put that rubber peice back in there....... well now my lift is done my top a-arm is layin on my strut as u can see in the pics below. Should i take the rubber peice out or let it stay like it is? Some people are tellin me that it will be ok , I wanted to ask some of yall.
Is the truck on the ground or on a lift in those pics?
I would say it looks like you have a leveling kit installed with the lift.... if so what make and model lift is that and what leveling kit do you have on there?
I am sure others will be able to chime in on this as well....but in my opinion something needs to come out.

I was thinking the same thing. That maybe the rubber you were talking about was actually a lift spacer.
im curious too though... were those pics on the ground, or with the front off the ground? looks like it was off the ground, but cant tell.... if that was with the wheel on the ground, then you definately had to remove the rubber spacer.

was that spacer inside the coil-over, between the shock and the spring top?
there are 2 ways to level these trucks out. one goes ontop, the other goes inside. Sounds/looks like you have a Daystar leveling kit that was previously installed on your truck
it's weird though, because lots of guys have had success stacking leveling kits with Lift kits to achieve 8" of total lift...I guess that only works if you use the kind that stacks ontop, not inside
this was on top of the spring , them pics was with it sittin on the ground with all the trucks weight on it....as Tylus said ive seen trucks on here with a leveling kit and a 6" lift , i wish i cud have kept them in there because it sits high in the back with the add-a-leaf and the new block , and if i take the add-a-leaf out it sits way to low, i wish i cud level it out.
