Question heat

02 explorer 4.0 air blows through vents but its cold. im guees is the thermostat.

I'd guess probably needs a garden hose slipped on the heater core fittings on the firewall under the hood to flush out the heater core.

What does the temp gauge say? If it's not reading abnormally low, then I doubt if it's the t-stat. Could be a clogged heater core.

guage is fine cooland is clean green maybe the blend door

the blend door is an electronic motor actuated door that mixes the hot and cold airs to get the correct temp. the motor can be broke, the door can be broke, or the control **** or controler can be bad. pull the **** off the controler and see if it really moving the shaft, then go for the blend door.

blend door is under the radio, behind the plastic panel
