You are welcome. Hopefully it is just the sending unit/temperature switch, and not the guage, or the wiring to it.

No, if there is a hottie working at Autozone, by all means keep going there. Just get used to using the online parts catalog, and go in with a list of part numbers.

fkaster..at the very least you can follow the directions for testing the sending unit from that link and check the values on the chart to see if your sending unit is good. If not, I would first pull the thermostat..as that is likely the next easiest, but if it's not that, I am willing to bet it's the gauge.
Then you can return the sensor they sold you. They actually told you the computer didn't list a sending unit???.....sheeesh

No doubt...but be careful.....My ex use to work the parts counter.
Of course I only hate two people in this world and she's both of them.

the problem did start after i did the pcv change... i'm pretty sure i didn't move anything though... the pcv is in the back toward the fire wall and i only had to move one vac line a little bit to pull the pcv vac line off... i'll look though. your ex used to be a parts counter person... my wife used to swing on poles and have retards like us actually thinking she was using the money for college... oh well... she's way to hot for me but lets hope she doesn't notice...

Double check things in the light of day and let us know what happens. My ex was hot too.....problem was she knew it and she was a showboat. Made me crazy

On the upside...I've got a new honey...she's much younger and better looking than me.. a much better person and I love her.....and I'm gonna be a daddy again.

yeah... i'll try to keep you posted... not sure if its going to happen tomorrow either, the news just said its going to be cold and really windy tomorrow... my hands are pretty useless in the cold. I've broken the right one more than twenty times and the lefts about half that... so the cold locks them up pretty good

Michigan is not the warmest state...and the northern tip of Michigan is at about the same latitude as my area...so I feel the same nip.
