I have an 05 Tacoma long bed and I was thinking about an 04-07 F-150 Crew Cab. What's the length of the bed on a CC F-150? I thought my Tacoma's bed was longer but it might not be. (The Tacoma is a Crew Cab also)
Thanks
I have the 5.5' bed, it seems to look better on crew cabs to me personally. If you wanted another foot you could buy one of the fold out things/cargo bed extender that sits on the tailgate, although I think they are really overpriced from Ford($350).
I am finding the 5.5 bed way too short. I had a 6.6 Chevy, it was ok, so I thought 5.5 would be ok. NOPE. Depends on what you want to do with your truck.
We have an 8' farm truck, now that box is amazing!
Try and buy wheels, or brake pads, for that 7 lug, Heavy/half , get you a F250 and enjoy life.
I have a 2005 Heavy Duty & the easiest way to "class up" the wheels was to buy a set of factory alloy 7 lug wheels off a 2014 or other years you like the look of.
Aftermarket wheels would have just been silly for the 7 lug.
I haven't had trouble finding brakes for it, you just have to check the description.
As for the F250, the HD F150 is basically the same thing as the lite duty F250 with 150 trim.
There isnt a good looking factory wheel for 7 lugs, and 2 buddies had the hd trucks, for their lawn care business, just 1 headache after another, with nobody understanding that Ford did this idiotic truck...which is why I said just buy a F250, everyone isnt mechanically inclined, and many shops around here, have never heard, of these trucks...nor I until I joined this site...hense why.
