Hypertech In-Line Power Tuning Module??
My Dad has a Hypertech In-Line Power Tuning Module, part #41042, that he had for his 03 F350 6.0. He sold the 03 and now has an 05 F450 6.0. Can he use the Hypertech on it? I'm sure he'd be better off selling it and getting some custom tunes but he was curious if this would work. Thanks.

any time...I know i dont have alot of info but I try lol plus your dad may be able to sell it and recoup the cost of an sct or a spartan plus something with custom tunes would be better suited for the truck and your dads driving habits

There is a major difference in the PCM's in the model years you listed. As previously said.......get rid of the inline "non-tuning" device and get an SCT with custom tunes.
