I just thought I would get everyone's attention to see why it has been so quiet the last few days and especially tonight. Maybe the daylight savings time thing has everyone tuckered out and not able to post up.
Just check in and let us know if you are alive or not!
my last two evenings have been completely consumed with internet problems, first I couldn't get the laptops to connect to the router,(I replaced the router with a brand new one) and now that it does, and stays connected, the modem keeps dropping off. I called *** comm. and they said it was the router, or my computer, or me,or my dog, or the kind of car I drive, or the color of my hair, but it definately couldn't be their modem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They refused to send someone out to fix it, until I threatened them, and even though I repeatedly called them with the same problems for the last week.
guess they didn't name themselves *** for nothing...
ARRRG!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah they ought to give you petroleum jelly when you sign up for their "service." I wish cable would get like the phone service where you could choose your provider.
I just coppied them into a folder and then open the folder and click on the exe file. I play Poker with Melissa and Suzi, have Paga 1 with Alabama Smith and Duke Nukum. When I click on the EXE file a dos window is opened and the game starts. I'm running XP.
I once had to load folder with everything on the disk, and run it from there, I had tetris, golf, and a bunch of other little games in there, but had to have all the junk in there to make it work. More or less same thing Jack had to do now that I reread his post.
I downloaded dosbox and still can`t figure it out. I have an old sim called taskforce 1942 that`s my favorite game ever and I`m going nuts trying to get it to work..
