Hey Fella's Need some Help. I got a replacement grill thats plastic and needs to be painted..Is there any certain paint that should be used because the plastic is smooth,and I do not know if it will stick..I plan on doing this myself.. The original the fake chrome is coming off,looks terrible..This is not a Ford,its on the wifes burb,one of many of G.M.'s bright ideas along with a list of many like there paint flakes!! I know its not a Ford but I still need the help...Thanks!!

"After cleaning well with a solvent scuff with a gray Scotch Pad then clean again and spray with a "good" adhesion promoter.
BASF makes several and I'm sure most other paint companies also make several different types of adhesion promoter. Most of these are single part products that are poured in the gun straight from the can or come in aerosol cans like the Dominion Sure Seal product that I sell.
Apply the adhesion promoter and wait the prescribed amount of time then just shoot your paint on top and it should hold on quite well."
