I have a 2005 F-250 6.0 liter FX4 CC. My 4-wheel wont engage when I turn the switch. The 4x4 light comes, but front hubs wont lock up unlesss i manually lock them. I know my transfer case engages because I have to manually lock my hubs in, then I have 4-wheel drive. Do I have a vaccum leak or is it electronic? Where and what should I check? Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
I tried doing a search but I didnt get anywhere with that.
Truck has 69,000 miles.

Easiest way to determine if it is a vacuum leak is to turn on the floor heat then move the switch to 4X4.
If the air comes out of the defrost, then you have a leak and you should do as Lee said.
This is the main culprit.
Just had mine fixed at garage, found a small box by the battery on passenger side of truck a little above and behind battery, electrical part of it went bad, takes about 15 minutes after they get part.
