Fixing stuff

My Truck as i have said before i have owned 3 times never the less it has been in my family for 7 years. the truck when i owned it the last time was in great shape. however now that i have bought it back it's in the worse shape that its ever been. somehow my uncle that i bought it back from has managed to puncture a hole about the size of 10 silver dollars in the tailgate both sides of the bed around the wheel wells are rusting bad i have only a couple of interior lights i guess the other bulbs are blowed and there was almost 10lbs of ciggerate buds and ashes covering the entire floor. i currently have fixed tuned the truck up with all motorcraft parts bought new tires and rims changed the oil and filter (motorcraft filter) i am going to be replacing the front windshield and replacing the drivers side mirror which he cracked. However there is light at the end of the tunnel. I cleaned out the ashes and i covered the floor mat with some armoral then i bought some ford truck mats and a ford racing steering wheel cover. i have it back to running good and it's smooth as a kitten but my only problem is i am a little intimidated by replacing the interior lights can you guys offer some help. sorry this is long i wanted to vent because of how pi**ED i am that my uncle almost destroyed my truck but now that i own it again i know i can fix it.

Half of the gauge lights. the only gauge light that does work is half of the speedometer.

What I would have to ask is... How can it be that since your uncle has own the truck every bulb has blown? I dont really know how rare this would be but it just seems like it could be a bigger problem then just bulbs? Just a heads up.

But here is a link on removing your dash, well half of it is anyway. Good luck
