My truck has sputtered under heavy accelleration a few times with a light amount of smoke coming out.
I lost an EGT sensor in the tailpipe a couple days ago. Might be something to this.
Sensor might be acting up and may fail on you in 20/30/40K miles from now. Mine went at 81,500.
