Help!!! I'm trying to dye some hard vinyl (plastic) interior panels from a mid-seventies Ford. The vinyl dye I'm using is fish-eyeing very badly in some areas. I have already used degreasing cleaner, acetone, laquer thinner, and vinyl prep and still it fish-eyes .

Any other ideas on how I can get this stuf to stick before I go postal and do this to the panels.

Thanks.

I don't know if you can dye hard plastic, you may have to actually paint them. I know they sell interior panel paint in spray cans.
Supposedly designed for interiors but it does wear off.

Good luck.
