My factory silicone boots lasted 7 years before oil deterioration occurred. I can get a 2' stick of 3" for $49, in three different colors. That will make the boots I need, plus have extra material in case of a problem. 200 PSI burst, 50 PSI working pressure is compatible to higher priced intake boots.. If I get 7 more years, for less than half the price, I will be very happy. Save some money when money is tight. Ford wants $50 per boot. The boot specs are as follows:
1) Genuine 4-ply Silicone (5 silicone layers plus 4 reinforcement layers = 9 total layers!)
Those are nice.
I would go for the black ones myself.
.
The only ? I have is they are not bellowed like the stock boots are and there fore a touch less flexible.
I don't know how that would effect longevity.
for that price id be getting them. i wonder what international wants for those pieces? also id get the kit from siliconeintakes that gives you the proper clamp just to make sure the clamps are good.

if there fine then you would re use them. but if you strip one then your in need. it seemed like a good price for the kit, thats all. clamps are one of those things that can make a little job go all bad in a hurry. just a suggestion. if yours are fine reuse them.
if there a smooth clamp you can..but the edges might cut the boot when the boot swells under high boost...the worm screw clamp will rip the silicone easily as well...the clamps they have the edges are rounded..there is no sharp edge on the boot...even under high boost when the boot swells up...I just ordered a set of 8 clamps when the link was posted...

International doesn't sell the boots, the a Ford thing
