Yes it was. Is there a "better" 2 cycle oil to use other than the Wally brand. I was going to try it but wanted to get the best product for my truck. Also how much to add when I do use it.
Since I am using biodiesel at 0.6 gal per tank for lubricity, I do not feel I need to use the 2 cycle oil.
If you use 2 cycle oil by itself, it seems to do well for the lubricity, but it definitely does not do anything for the cetane levels, water demulsifcation, etc.
Neither does the biodiesel - that is why I use the Stanadyne as well.
Hey Sarge, if you ever decide to switch to Stanadyne, see about getting yourself setup as a dealer and I will buy it from you instead of from some online shop that isn't a sponsor.

Great idea Juneau! Count me in also. I don't know if you buy the half gallon containers, but it is much cheaper that way (save by buying bulk AND shipping is much cheaper per oz, of Stanadyne).

I will look into it. I heard that the Motor Craft aditive is made by standadyne. I will check with the MC rep int eh morning and if not I will call standayne and see what I need to do to get to be a dealer.
If I need to buy quantity I will be calling on you to help me out.
Sarge, I have been running YamalubeR 2 stroke oil at 5 ounces per 15 gallons of fuel. I run Yamalube in my bikes and have really good luck with it. Other brands foul plugs and what not. I buy 32ounce bottles for $8. My uncle is a mechanic in the National Gaurd, has been for about 25 years. He has been running it in their HumVees and his personal pickup for 20 plus years. He runs the Stihl brand that you buy at hardware store in little 4 ounce bottles. He says it's easy to dump them and toss the bottle. I also run Power Service white bottle in the winter for anti gel. Not sure if it is really needed. I buy it at Satan's layer, sorry Walmart for about $8 a bottle. One bottle treats something like 200 gallons. Just my $0.02.
