Roland- I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Turbo Master once you get some time on it... don't hear much about it.
I liked it with the stock turbo. It was easy to adjust and really did work like it said it would.
It is said to work with the GTP38R, but requires more adjusting. I may ending up diasabling the WG by tightening it up ATW. Without sticks, I won't be able to tax this turbo to its full potential. More driving is needed.
The TN Hi Flow Outlet, I installed on BB, reduces some drive pressure and drops the EGTs further than the stock size outlet.
Cool deal Roland. I was on the tractor all weekend, so I wasn't on here much. Yeah, you had a busy weekend between your truck and helping Joe. He seems like a very nice guy on the phone. I will talk to you later today.
The baby's butt dowel pin was being a "butt" about lining up to seat the flange. I ended up almost taking the bolts completely out of the exhaust manifold flanges to get things right. Then, she fell into place.
Got my up-pipes installed Saturday as well. I was having trouble getting the dowl pin to align so I loosened the manifold bolts up a bit. Not completely loose, but the threads just starting to show through the nut. That gave me enough slack to drip the pin into place and tighten up the baby's butt. Once it was secure, tightened up the manifold bolts. It went smoother than I expected!

Congrats on the modding weekend Roland!!
Thanks Ryan.
Congrats on your uppipes install as well. A job you won't regret.
Your description pretty much describes what I had to do also. Maybe just a bit more looser. The bolts were in the flanges and loose enough to allow some flexibilty of the pipes. Good feeling when it finally drops in and you can get that PITA clamp back on.
My wife and I took a little road trip to Galveston for lunch yesterday. They are still in recovery from Ike, but things are cleaning up nicely. Lots of shops are still in repair and haven't reopened.
My truck performed as well as expected on the trip. EGTs in check. Good acceleration performance. Mileage about the same. According to lie-o-meter, it is up a tad. My next tank fill will prove if I am benefiting from increased air. Seems to have more "bottom end" power and shifts quicker with less throttle. This is all observed from one day of driving. The rest of the week will give me a better indicator of what's going on during my "normal routine".
