Quick Question SCT X2
looking to buy one. i have emailed Eric yesterday asking if he could get me a tune to eliminate the EGR operation out of the PCM. he said no problem, but then goes to say i would need a SCT X3. i emailed him back with no response. the X2 should do what i need shouldn't. i mean, i am looking to purchase his custom tunes for my truck, but i don't want to shell out 430 when i could pick up an X2 for 150 to 200 less. plus, do these tunes really take the EGR operation out. i currently have a complete EGR delete and my turbo is locked.

Since you already have mods and need custom tunes, I think you would be better off buying a X3 from Eric. That way you get three custom tunes right off the bat. If you buy custom tunes from him separate they are like $65 each for standard tunes and $80 for extreme tunes. That will add up and it will be easier to just get it from him. Plus, the X3 is a little faster than the Xcal2 and I think it has a few more features. I bought a used Xcal2 on craigslist here for $175 and have been using Spartan's free tunes, but I am looking forward to trying Erics tunes for the improved shifting and disabling the EGR.
