Hey guys ,I purchased a set of these for my '65 f100. The kingpins seem to fit loosely in the beam. Around .010 under. Their tech says its perfect tolerance. I'm just still leary of it . Has anyone used these and seen this before? I have the pins they call for. Thanks (I think I posted this on the REPLY to another thread) Darn new guys anyway.
They are relying on the pinch bolt to hold it in place, And hoping their crappy fabricated head holds together.
.010 seems big .008 is stock. I guess they never intend anyone to actually drive a modified truck. The most this will do is wallow out the hole over time or stress the king bolt retainer, and beat the crap out of the bushings.
Thanks drof46, I will probley bush the bore. I bought these months ago and never thought about the pin fit. Must just drill the hole instead of reaming. I expected better for the price. Just another setback.
