battery power
what is the reason why our trucks have dual batteries? does it just take a lot of power to turn them over?

yeep those starters and glow plugs drain a lot, plus they are made to work, so have enough juice to power a lot of accesories.

Yes, it needs plenty of CCA's spin the higher compression PSD engines plus to power glow plug circuits, etc. One big battery just can't do the work by itself.
