i got a 94 250 diesel, i have a dana 60 to swap underneath, are the lengths of the 350 springs the same as a 250? can i put a 350 lift kit into it? if so what would be a good 8" lift, i can only find 6" and i would like to stay away from a body lift
You will have to consider a shackle reverse kit. These kits will get rid of the troublesome front swing shackle and eliminate the problems associated with the front swing design.
These kits will raise your truck by three inches or even up to five inches with a stock a spring, so you may only need as little as a 4 inch spring to net your desired heigth. This will keep the truck riding soft and maintain some flex.
Fix the shackle problem, and the rest is easy.
x2,
look at sky-manufacturing,
they make a nice kit but im not sure for what years(92-96??), but they do have pics so you can see what were talkin about
