1997 V6 blowing PCM Fuses like crazy

Just what the title says. Its been through 3 different fuses in the past week. Its the same fuse each time. I'm figuring there is a bad ground somewhere but don't know where to look for the PCM Fuse. Anybody have a diagram of the grounding system for this truck? Any help appreciated.

The fuse blowing is not going to be in the grounding circuit for the truck. It will be in the power circuit for the PCM. That circuit is getting shorted to a ground.

Which fuse is it that is blowing exactly? What is the fuse value? Where is the fuse panel located in the truck where the fuse is blowing? Good luck!

PCM Fuse, 30 amp, bigger type, fuse panel is located in the engine bay on the left side.

Relay works and everything else is fine. It blows the fuse as soon as it gets power to it.

Unplug the PCM,and try one more fuse...If it still blows with the PCM unplugged, the problem is between the fuse, and PCM..If however it doesent blow, the PCM is shorted internally.

Exactly what I would have suggested.

If it's an automatic, pull the cover off of the steering column and look at the OD cancel switch wires where they exit the shifter. The wires chafe there and short, blowing the PCM fuse.

Wrong fuse, that is F29.

We need the EXACT fuse #, probably F24. If so, plug that string (F24) into the SEARCH tool as I have covered this one several times.

Well the problem was found. It was a wiring harness that got to close to the exhaust manifold. So the problem is solved. Thanks for your help guys.

Oops! You're right.
That's what I get for relying on my memory and not cracking open the book.
