Hey i need some help. I got a deal on some BFG AT's.
They're 33 x 9.50 R15's. I was told that they will fit my 92 Bronco with no suspension upgrades. What do y'all suggest?
on my 91 the 33's fit with no suspension upgrades. I did have to modify the steering stops to keep the tires from rubbing on the suspension pieces in turns. If you do not have the front antisway bar it doesnt increase the turning radius, if you do have front antisway bar your turning radius can increase alot. I had 33x12.5 r15s though so you may not have to adjust as much for the turning radius.
Yea I was told that the 33 x 12.50's rub some. That's why I'm looking at the 9.50's. I was also told that the 10.50s wouldn't rub either but I wana go old skool with the Tall and Skinny Tires. Thanks that helps some. atleast i know i dont have to do any suspension mods.
Thanks
Most say that 33" tires will fit without fender rubbing on the 78 - 91 Broncos. The 92+ had smaller wheel wells and 32s are considered the largest. The skinnier tires might help with that issue though, so it's hard to say.
dont worry about it i have been running 33 12.50s for a long time now front and back. the only time i get it to rub at all is when i turn hard left or right but it is seriously at the end of my steering geomotry anyways i maybe lost a centimeter of turn radious. i dont even notice it anymore cause i dont like bottoming out my steering pump anyways. i have no suspention up grades at all. but i do have all tight joints and bushings.
