March Truck Work
Needless to say, I spent last night with my buddies Barley and Hops.
I assume you have a TV in the shop, because tomorrow is NASCAR and Supercross races !

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I have 2 of them, 1 was from a 1992 or 1993 F250...the other is from a 1972 Mustang.
I rebuilt both, and had great plans to use them, then never did.
I rebuilt them myself, other than the actual machining on the block and heads.
I did the actual reassembly.
Both have slightly higher than stock compression, and an RV style cam, to basically improve mid range torque.
They would require premium pump gas, not just regular.
Both have high output starter motors, and are fancied up a bit with chromed valve covers, oil pans, dipstick tubes etc.
Currently neither is installed in anything, they are just sprayed with storage oil, and shrink wrapped in plastic to protect them on pallets.
I was going to build a hovercraft oneday and use them for lift, and proplusion.....well then I got too busy at work, and with family etc.
So basically will not use them.
If interested make me a reasonable offer.
They are both .30 over on all 8 bores, new pistons, rings, all bearings, seals gaskets, cams, chain and gears, valves& springs & keepers etc. are new on overhauled heads.
Cranks are stock, but checked and are fine.
Blocks were hot tanked, so nice clean oil and coolant passages, but the blocks are original other than being bored out.
These motors were not built to be race motors, jsut a little more grunt in the midrange where i figured they would usually run is all.
Complete with full ignitions etc.
But need topping off as they only have intakes, I had great plans for a cool EFI unit i was going to buy and install, but never did.
Painted black in high temp paint, but not perfect, as i did it with spray bombs, not professional paint by any means.
Jim's performance in P.G. did the machine, so if you want to call him and ask he knows that I am picky and rebuilt them right.

Theres a hovercraft for sale in the Kamloops Craigslist.
What I really want is a slightly smaller boat, and aluminum hill not fiberglass like i have now.
I want to be able to beach it anywhere.
I have been looking at some 18 to 19 foot aluminums with an outboard to buy.
Its time I think I sell the campion, its a great boat, just too big for rivers and stuff, and fiberglass.
I see so many rocky areas I want to stop and explore, hunt etc. but can't anymore....I miss my aluminum river boat i guess.
The hovercraft was going to be an impractical toy really.
I got a set of plans and started building, then LIFE happened, and that stopped....lol
Saleen Those motors in mind are worth about 1,500 to 3,000. Depending on who your selling it too.
