note to self(and others)
if you are going to be using the plasma cutter, wear your leathers!!
just because it is 99 degrees out, and you only will be cutting for 45 seconds, you can still set your shirt on fire and burn a hole in your gut and arms with slag.




















don't ask me jow i know this fact.

Another good thing to remember is that shorts with frayed edges are technically wicks for the torch or plasma cutter to ignite.Change, and knives in your pockets will leave a beautiful, permanent mark to remind you of this bit of trivia

no worries about that Charlie, i only wear Dickies work clothes, and always wear long leg pants and 6 or 8 inch steel toe boots.
i learned a long time ago that sneakers and hot metal do not get along. i did not get burned, but had a new pair of sneakers with a big hole in the heel from a 3/4 inch bolt that was fresh cut.
once was enough for me with that. if i walk out of the house, i have boots on.
