Furthermore we offer the Blue Diamond product, a FULL PAO synthetic oil (not synthetic blend) along with a bypass filter, guaranteed to deliver top oil performance for up to 50K miles between changes.
On a 6.0?
I'd like to see an oil analysis from a 6.0 that went 50k miles between changes with this product.

Do you have data to back this claim?

all i see from this guy is the same C/P , and its becoming iritating to say the list. im all for the sponsors but this is to much . its kinds to invasive for my liking...
im sorry i had to let it out.
if im out of line here please let me know.
Well, I have used the stuff, and I guess it works, I am currently using it as a PM thing ( half bottle). But I have to agree with ya, Pete, every semi-injector-related thread and BAM! HSS! Can't blame them for the sales pitch, trying to gain business, but c'mon BTW, anyone know when Ice Road Truckers is starting? LOL And to the OP, did you try the safety angle with the wifey, and show her the pics? Just wondering if it was of any help???

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the interest.
What we are describing is using our Blue Diamond oil (pure PAO synthetic..not a blend) along with our HUGE bypass filter.
Actually, we believe that it is possible to go beyond 50K miles between changes using this system. And yes, we do include the oil analysis for this method if you buy the package.
well i know that the 6.0l can be a bit pain in the butt sometimes, you said that your wife uses it to take you little ones to and from the baby sitter most of the time, that sound like a short trip and if thats all your using it for inbetween camping trips then you should take it out and drive it like you stole it. the engine love to be worked, i had a simmaler problem with my truck, 2003 f-250 SC LB, i was laid off fore a wile and just doing short trips like getting groceries, after a wile i noticed a lack in performance, so i took a trip to calgary one day whitch is an hour drive, i took it out of OD and on the his i let er have it, tryed to keep it at about 3k - 3.5k rpm and its like a new truck agian.
other than that i would deffinatly use fule aditives and update the computer.

Hey Pete,
Good to hear from you.
First, "snake oil" implies that what I am saying is not true.
The Blue Diamond is a full synthetic oil...not a blend like most of the stuff on the market...it is a little pricey but well worth it for the results. It alone goes a long way to solving the stiction issue with this engine.
Furthermore, utilizing the bypass filter delivers the results that we claim. We have customers already on the road using it.
So implying that I am not truthful here again is wrong.
As far as the Hot Shot's Secret goes...it was tested by International and found to correct the number one problem with the 6.0, stiction due to oxidation from the searing of the oil by the injectors.
Should I be concerned about being proud of the fact that we sell good products that do what we say, are tested and approved and deliver results time and time again?
Especially when we pay a premium to this site to have this privilege?
I hope not.
Please tell me where I have misrepresented anything?
I don't think anyone has accused you of misrepresentation. But we would like to see some data to substantiate the claims you are making. Who knows - you may convince a few of us "skeptics".
To avoid limp mode without EGR, plug in and wire outside intake so it sees it on teh computer. I would try several treatments of receomended fuel conditioner(standyne, howes, Diesel Kleen white bottle for antigel) to help the injectors and some hard work. Unfortunately, without EGR, its going to be really slow warming up, worse than before. If you are running 5w40 and its cold enough, get a remote start and convert to 0w40 while the temps are below 32 F. It will help with the cold rough running. I would avoide these oil additive products, they are a last resort IMO, why buy expensive syn oil and dilute it. FICM troubles are known to come from low voltage, what are you running at, are batteries and alt performing well, what voltage you running right after startup, anything less than 12.5 volts and that could be helping your rough running.
to the OP:
I'd try the HSS first before installing a new injector.
Just add it to the oil you have in there without overfilling it.
1000 miles is still pretty fresh.
EGR is still in place and plugged in. from my understanding flow is read by the mass air and another sensor in the intake. so, i am looking at an SCT X2 and tunes from Eric.
