dp tuner F6

If i buy an F6,do i still have to buy back my tunes that is on my F5,or can jody transfer it.

that is a good question..i would think he would...but then again..it is a new chip...

When I switched from an F5 to an F6 I only paid for the chip. I didnt have to pay for the tunes all over again. Whomever buys your F5 will have to pay for whatever tunes they want.

Another example of good customer service.

so if i sell my chip jody would take out my tunes and put it in the F6 and the F5 would be blank

I would hope that would be how it is because thats alot of money to have to dump right back into more tunes.

Its not that he has to download the tunes you already have from the F5 and leave it blank. He has the tunes on file and will upload to the new F6. The F5 wont work well for whomever buys it unless their PCM matches yours. They will have to send it to Jody to get reburned for what they want. If you decide to keep it then it will still be tuned to your truck.

I hope I'm right about this. In the beginning, Jody offered to not charge you for the tunes you already paid for if you upgraded to the F6. He was looking to get the compensation from the guy that buys your old one on the reburn (and rightfully so). Now if you keep your old one I'm not sure on how that would work out. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If he decides to keep his F5 as a spare and purchases the F6 then he will NOT be recharged again for the tunes he has already purchased.

If he sells his F5 and purchases the F6 he will NOT be recharged for his tunes.
