We have not had many fire calls. Ambulances have been running crazy lately. The other patient was transported to a different hospital with head injury. Un-restrained driver versus wind shield.
Those are almost always bad. I am a firm believer in wearing a seat belt. Just look at what happened to my last truck.
Same here after an accident that I had about 20 years ago. If I was not wearing mine, I may have been seriously hurt. I basically walked away from it with a mild concussion yet my car was totaled.
It is going Doug. I am probably going to shop a few dealers monday to see what they have. Yes Neil I am looking at getting an F250 crew cab, diesel, 4x4, long bed. Preferably an xlt.

Thanks Doug. We had a line officers meeting a few weeks ago andI brought up the possibility of getting another truck in the next year or so. We try to replace one every 10 years and we paid off the newest one last year. We have been dicussing about a quick attack unit based on a F550 chassis or getting a new rescue. From some feedback from the officers that were there, it looks like we are leaning towards the rescue and I am looking at exisitnf truck for some ideas.
That is cool Shaun. When it comes time to replace my 150 in about five years or so, I may move up to a 250 if for anything the additional room that you get in the cab of a Super Duty. Plus I am really liking the looks of the new ones that are coming out
The only thing I don't like about my truck is the turning radius. You have to be careful making u-turns under flashing red arrows. Some convenience store parking lots are night marish too.
I can understand that Doug. When I worked at the cemetary I would drive an f 350 dump truck. Regular cab short wheel base 4wd. That thing wouldnt turn if its life depended on it.
