Altenator ?
The big black/red wire on the back of the altenator has burnt off twice. I have put two different connectors on it in one year. The last time I made a copper rod with one end threaded and a set screw for the wire to be held in by. This has worked so far, But now my valt gauge is low again witch is how I usually know if the wire has burnt off. Its still attached but the copper and wire get very hot. I checked the glow plug relay and it works good, the glow plugs are not on. A volt meter shows it charging at 13.36v. Is there a voltage regulator on these trucks?
